Getting started with TotalBay

TotalBay runs in a web browser on any computer, tablet or phone. There is nothing to install.

1. Sign in at /shop with the owner (admin) password. The shop desk can use the desk key login, which never asks for a two-step code.
2. Fill in Settings: shop name, phone, hours, labor rate, parts markup and sales tax. See Settings.
3. Connect your services under Connections: email, texting, parts catalog (Nexpart) and payments.
4. Add bays and technicians in Settings so the Day board and Bay balance work.
5. Bring your customers over from your old system. See Importing from your old system.
6. Do a practice check-in on your own car, build an estimate, send it to yourself and approve it.

Every update to TotalBay signs everyone out once. Just sign back in.
