Settings has three importers. Each one works the same way: choose the file, check the column matching, Preview (nothing is saved), then Import. Undo last removes the last import.
Customers and vehicles: matched by phone, email and VIN so nothing is doubled. Existing customers only get blank fields filled in.
Old repair orders: with line items, from Tekmetric, Shopmonkey, Mitchell 1, Shop-Ware or any CSV/Excel. They are kept as history, never on the boards, never in sales, tax or payroll, and left out of KPIs unless you tick the box. Re-running the same file skips what's already in.
Inventory: SKU, name, brand, quantity, minimum, cost and location, matched by SKU.
Imported customers never get automatic texts or marketing. Always preview first.
